installation engineering. The airport systems included a 10-channel UHF repeater
network, voting receiver sites, hot-standby repeaters, 18 operator consoles,
radio paging, three radiating coaxial cable systems for in-building
communications, a VIP radio-telephone system, and many other special features.
ProCom designed and manufactured a unique multi-channel ANI system with color
displays for the project.
Design and Engineering of a Police
Communications System in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
ProCom designed an extensive system for highway police communications throughout
the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The system is comprised of over 70 sites,
28 multi-channel line-of-sight links, 34 self-supported towers, 102 hot-standby
VHF repeaters, and operator consoles at 8 sector headquarters stations. The
system also includes solar power systems for the remote sites, an automatic
number identification system with CRT displays, voice security, and alarm
reporting displays.
Design
and Construction of a Shipboard Communications Center.
ProCom provided the design and construction of a complete shipboard
communications center for the SS Marrakech under a turn-key contract from the
Government of Morocco. The communications center involved several systems
including multiple VSAT terminals, INMARSAT satellite terminals, UHF and VHF
ship-to-shore radio communications, marine radio communications, HF radio,
message handling terminals, facsimile, encryption, operator consoles, and TV
satellite reception systems.

Design and Supply of Systems for Desert Storm
Communications. ProCom supplied various types of
equipment and systems for the U.S. military and coalition forces during Desert
Storm operations in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait including portable INMARSAT
satellite terminals, portable radio repeaters, television transmitters and
distribution systems, and siren warning systems for gas attack alert.
Design and Construction of a Major Trunked
Radio System in China. ProCom designed and supervised
the construction of a trunked radio and paging system for the Dan Dong PTT in
the Liaoning Province of China. The system which provides commercial service for
the public consists of a 40-channel full duplex trunked radio system, and a VHF
simulcast digital radio paging system for 15,000 subscribers. Both systems are
controlled from a single digital switch located at the PTT Headquarters. The
state-of-the-art system uses three communications sites, and provides multiple
grades of service, intermixed signaling protocols, voice-mail, bilingual voice
prompts, least-cost call routing, and no-answer transfer services to telephone
or paging numbers.
Design and Construction of Communications
Systems for the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters in
Riyadh. This international project included the
